  Robin Kirkby

Robin Kirkby was born to do Strategic Intelligence. His father had a successful military intelligence career and his mother was a patent intelligence specialist.
He has been an Intelligence professional in Europe for over 20 years, working as both a practitioner and a consultant. During this time he has managed over
1,800 intelligence projects; facilitated 300 workshops and trained 800 people.

Robin is the Director of Strategic Intelligence for Nycomed Pharma. Nycomed started 7 years ago with a blank sheet of paper for intelligence and has taken the
opportunity to create a unique model for Pharma intelligence, focusing on decision-support for the corporate strategy. Nycomed’s Intelligence capability was
recently assessed as part of the Global Intelligence Alliances’ benchmarking Study 2011 (n=989), and was rated as “Close to World Class” against a peer group
of 50 Pharma companies.

Robin has made Intelligence his career and takes a keen interest in training, mentoring and developing intelligence professionals. His talk is about how to
recruit, train and retain intelligence talent.

  Daniel Pascheles, Ph.D.
Vice President, Head Global Competitive Intelligence
Merck & Co / MSD

Dr. Daniel R. Pascheles is Head, Global Competitive Intelligence, and is based in Whitehouse Station NJ, at the Global HQ of Merck & Co., Inc.

His responsibilities include providing intelligence regarding business, research and development activities of competitors, as well as participating in, and
contribution to the strategy development process, the target identification for licensing and M&A activities.

Pascheles joined Merck & Co., Inc. early 2005 from Aventis Inc. where he was Vice President and head of Corporate Competitive Intelligence. He has worked
for Aventis and its predecessor company (Hoechst Marion Roussel, Marion Merrell Dow) for 14 years in various positions and locations.

Pascheles studied Pharmacy at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland. He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Technology from
the same university.  He has done additional study at the University of Kansas in Lawrence, Kansas.

Pascheles is Past-President and current Board member of the Pharmaceutical Business Intelligence & Research Group (PBIRG). He is also member of the
Society of Competitive Intelligence Professionals (SCIP) and the Licensing Executive Society (LES).

  Sabih Bekhouche        
Director of Integrated Insights, Novartis AG

Sabih Bekhouche is the Director of Integrated Insights at Novartis Global Headquarters in Switzerland.  He majored in biochemistry and psychology from Lewis
and Clark College (Portland, OR) and obtained his MBS from the Keck Graduate Institute (Claremont, CA).

In the current role Sabih supports specialty products’ marketing strategies by providing commercial recommendations with an external and future looking view
on the market.  Key responsibilities are planning and leading all strategic external research activities in competitive intelligence, market research, business
analytics and forecasting in order to ensure a comprehensive external view and identification of key business drivers for the franchise, ensuring a competitive
edge.

Sabih Bekhouche has over 9 years of experience in the field of competitive intelligence leading and building the Global CI function and capabilities in both
specialty and primary care franchises within Novartis.  Prior to joining Novartis he worked in competitive intelligence consulting for various pharmaceutical and
biotech companies conducting and planning primary CI efforts, training associates on competitive intelligence & counterintelligence and leading wargames.

  Rachid Benhamza

With over 25 years experience in the pharmaceutical arena, Dr Rachid Benhamza has experienced several aspects of this exciting business from basic
research and teaching at the University of Geneva, to manufacturing of APIs in a couple of chemical plants, international sales management, licensing and
business development where he spent over 10 years working worldwide opening new markets for Helsinn, In his current position as Head of Product
Management, he coordinates together with his coworkers and commercial teams responsible for the preparation and launch of new drugs. Among his
responsibilities he coordinates the competitive intelligence team to support the commercial strategies for new drugs.

Rachid Benhamza started his career at the University of Geneva, after which he joined the pharma industry and worked with Helsinn Chemicals, Linnea (an
affiliate of Ipsen-Schwabe groups) and Helsinn Healthcare.

Throughout his career, Rachid Benhamza has been exposed to over 70 companies worldwide, from big pharma groups to local specialized companies, with
whom he collaborated on many aspects of the pharma industry.

Rachid Benhamza is an active member of several associations where he has responsibilities as a board member. Together with other colleagues in the Swiss
Pharma industry, Rachid Benhamza co-founded, 10 years ago, the Swiss Pharma Licensing Group (www.swissplg.com), an association of 150 Executives
working in business development and licensing. Rachid Benhamza is currently acting as the president of this association since 2009.

Georges joined Johnson & Johnson in 2007 as a European Product Manager before moving into a CI function 3 years ago.  He now leads a regional Centre of
Excellence for Competitive Intelligence within the organization.  Prior to joining J&J,  Georges held roles in sales and marketing in Canada, Latin America,
China and Australia.  He has an MBA from the Thunderbird School of Global Management and a Bachelor of International Business from Carleton University in
Canada.

Fernando Del moral is Competitive Intelligence Group Leader for Roche’s Central Nervous System area; he is based in Basel Switzerland.

Del Moral Joined Roche Mexico in 2002 where he worked his way up the ranks from Sales Rep, Product Associate, Market Research Manager, Strategic
Planning Group Manager until in in 2008 he joined Roche Global Headquarters has CI manager for inflammation & virology.

Before Joining Roche Del Moral was a Consultant with Taylor Nelson Sofres (TNS).

Del Moral holds a bachelor degree in  Business Administration and Marketing from the Universidad Panamericana in Mexico and a Master Degree in
Diplomacy with a specialization in European Studies from the Universidad Complutense of  Madrid.

Pablo Prados is Head Global Product Patrimony Management Pharmaceutical Customer Solutions - Global Operations at sanofi-aventis. Pablo holds PhDs in
Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University Complutense of Madrid and the University of Tokyo, and received his MBA from Temple University. Pablo worked
in Japan for 10 years in the Pharma industry, holding positions in both R&D and Pharma Operations, such as Regulatory Affairs Manager with Nippon Schering,
Strategic Planning Director with Nippon Roche, New Products & Opportunities Head with Aventis Japan, and Business Analysis Head with sanofi-aventis Japan,
before moving to Paris in June 2007 to his current position.

  Robert Siegmund

Dr. Robert Siegmund obtained a M. Sc. in Biochemistry from the University of Zurich, a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of Vienna and a MBA from
London Business School.

He started his career in the pharmaceutical industry doing basic research in cancer biology at the Institute of Molecular Pathology in Vienna, which belongs
to the Boehringer Ingelheim Group. After MBA graduation Robert joined AMGEN where he worked in roles of increasing responsibility in the areas of market
research and strategic planning, first in the German affiliate and then in the International headquarters. In 2004 Robert moved to the global headquarters of
Roche to support the launch of a leading oncology product with market research, forecasting and competitive intelligence in his role as Business Analysis
Manager.

Since 2009 Robert is Director, Global Commercial Analytics at Actelion Headquarters in Switzerland. Robert is leading a team generating insights by market
research, competitive intelligence and business analytics. His team provides strategic advice and forward-looking decision intelligence to global strategic
marketing, business operations and global business development.

    Mandy Summerfield

Mandy Summerfield has a career that has spanned both in-house CI leadership and external consultancy in Europe and North America.  She started her career
in the pharmaceutical industry working for Cambridge Pharma Consultancy, working in both their Cambridge and New York offices on global projects.  She
moved into CI when she joined Fuld & Company in 2004 as a Director in their Healthcare/Pharmaceuticals practice in London.  She then joined the Deallus
Group to set up their research practice as Director of Research, before moving to join Rio Tinto to set up a CI division in their Minerals group.  In 2008 Mandy
moved back into the pharmaceutical industry with Shire as Director, Competitive Intelligence.  Based in the UK, Mandy is responsible for the provision of
global competitive intelligence to a number of business units, leading a team to provide insights from across CI, market research, forecasting and data
analytics.  Mandy holds a MSc in Marketing from Strathclyde Business School and a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Glasgow University.
